This past Friday night, January 14th, the residents and staff from our Mercy home in Nashville had the privilege of attending a special inauguration concert to honor our newly elected Governor of Tennessee, Bill Haslam. It was really cool for our girls to get to attend a wholesome, secular concert, as well as get a taste of the political world. This concert featured performances by well-known recording artists Sara Evans, Diamond Rio, and Bo Bice. It was such a great time! Here are some pictures highlighting all the fun they had:
Also thought you might want to hear what some of our Mercy residents had to say about it:
We appreciate all of our elected officials, and we encourage you to pray for each and every one of them – no matter what their political affiliation may be.
Have a great night!!!
