New Year’s Resolutions

I haven’t talked to you since the day after Christmas. I hope that you had a very nice weekend. As we approach the New Year, it is common that many of us make New Year’s resolutions. Some statistics have shown that the average length that New Year’s resolutions last is usually around eight days; so instead of doing New Year’s resolutions the normal way, and perhaps failing, I was thinking that it would be a good idea if those of you that read this would list in the comments section what your New Year’s resolution is, and then we can all join together and pray for one another so that, by God’s grace, we can succeed in whatever we want to change with His help. Today is December 29th. Maybe you could go ahead and post your resolutions (prayer requests) in the next few days so that we can all agree in prayer with one another. We are told in James 5:16 that we are to confess our faults to one another and pray for one another so that we can be healed. Let’s join together in the New Year by praying for one another so we can see god change us from the inside out.

Blessings to everyone, wherever you may be!!

This year I have resolved to finding a new job that will allow me to spend more time with my daughter. I also want to continue to get "healthy" so that I can help my accountability partner start a group for women who are struggling with some of the things i use to. My main commitment this year is to get in the word more and believe what is says about me and that I am worthy of being used for His glory.

I have been praying about what God might want me to focus on this year for awhile now and I feel like a big theme is to enjoy life more. I haven't been enjoying it like I could, mainly because of choices I've made or, in some cases, haven't made. I think more than anything, I want to become more healthy spiritually, physically and mentally this year so that I can enjoy the life He has given me to it's fullest.
